Bin bandits!!

Well I have already sorted this out, but I wanted to tell someone anon what has occurred by my new neighbours!

went out this morning to put some rubbish in the weelie bin - it wasn’t there !

very confused I wander around the streets looking for it- yes I probably looked a bit batty .

gave up , thinking someone who has their bins in a shed must have taken it by mistake, and hope I find it on bin day .

this evening In a bout of annoyance after tripping over a bin bag , I went and started looking up and down the streets again, trying to slyly look in gardens at bins .

two doors down , new neighbours - I spot our bin ! Still with our number clearly painted on , but the cheeky buggers had stuck bin numbers for their house over the top of ours ! luckily our number had been painted on large and it was obvious that they were criminals , so I didn’t need to involve Scotland Yard .

he blamed it on his mum . The missus looked very embarrassed.

I was so polite about it I’m annoyed at my self 😂

they will forever now be known as the bin bandits. That is their new nick name .

cheeky fuckery to the max .
I might need a bin alarm , for its future safety.

guard your bins people - the bin bandits are about!

Kill them.

Timeforanewnam · 20/07/2024 21:43

And put them in said stolen bin ?

possibly a bit harsh, but justice for bin bandits needs to be, so as to deter future attacks

Can you attach air tags to your bins somehow? Just in case they try it again! 😂

I did Pooh- Pooh my husband’s suggestion a few years ago about getting air tags for the kids when we went to a theme park .

Said it was too expensive and overkill.

might be worth it for the safety of the bin I suppose 🤣

Siphon bin gravy through their letter box.

Timeforanewnam · 20/07/2024 21:57

any retaliation needs to be much more subtle then that , I fear they would suspect me
