Does increasing speed on Virgin Internet improve signals?

So we have just got 2 new ring cameras, one for the garden, one for the side of our house leading to the garage. We already have a ring doorbell.

With the doorbell already connected to the main hub, the other two cameras connect to a £20 WiFi extender in our conservatory , but it will only connect one camera at a time.

Our Virgin wifi is (I think) the package for 250m speed, from a quick google increasing the package speed won't increase the range of the WiFi, which I think we need to increase?

Is this correct- is the only way to extend the range by buying a better WiFi extender ?

For reference our hub is at the front door, in the hall way, and the conservatory is some distance away down a hallway then another room.

It won't increase range but it will increase bandwidth which might help. If you can get a signal on both cameras but not consistently that suggests it is more a bandwidth issue than a range issue.

Which version of the hub do you have? If you're not on the latest one, see if you can get them to upgrade you.

We found a deco mesh was the best way to get a more reliable wifi reception throughout the house, much better than the router and extender that virgin provided.
