RUNCORN - Hotel Campanile is it ok?

Need somewhere for a stop over, want cheap and cheerful but clean!!! so many mixed reviews about Hotel Campanile Runcorn.

Anyone give advice?

Money's tight and Prem Inn is alot more this will.be a regular weekly stay so just wanted to know what it was like

Im local and I wouldn’t stay there. Campanile don’t have a good reputation

Theres a travel lodge in widnes which isn’t too expensive. Couple of premier inns. There isn’t too many options in that area. How close do you need to be? If you looked more towards Liverpool there would be more choice but not sure if that’s too far?
Or there’s a place called happy guests lodge out towards northwich which is pretty cheap and doesn’t have a terrible reputation

Assuming you’re driving to Widnes, you’d be paying bridge tolls if you stay in Runcorn.
