Gift ideas 70th Birthday

My dear dad turns 70 next month.

I'm really struggling to think of what to get him for a present.

He doesn't have any specific hobbies, just likes the nice things in life and has very good taste.

Any ideas would be very appreciated.

You could get a newspaper page with the headlines from the day he was born. Get an old school recipe list offline and make his meals on his birthday like his childhood (if he actually enjoyed them).
Ask him what he misses from his past and see if you can find any of it on Ebay or similar.
