Hi, I pet sit for a neighbour and they’ve got a ring indoor camera set up, does this constantly record me? I feel a bit weird being recorded!
There is no led lights on it even when I have moved past it, and if it records constantly does it record audio? Wouldn’t want to have a private convosation on the phone if this is the case!
it lit up blue led before which I assume is the owner checking in?

Hi.
A quick Google on the camera model will answer that
You are perfectly reasonable to tell them that you've noticed the camera and do not want to be recorded.
They can agree to turn it off, or not.
You can say you won't pet sit if you don't like their answer.

The blue light generally means that the camera is active / recording but different flashing patterns give a status

Blue means they are actively watching. But it records every movement also. Motion and person detection. When it's recording you'll notice tiny red lights if you look close enough. Owner has access to watch all recordings. But again if it's lit up blue that means they are live actively watching

We have an indoor one and motion detect and constant recording isn't on. We can just check in on the dog when we want. We turn it round when we don't want the other checking in on us.

Can't you turn it round?
