Stuck in hospital

Currently in a sweltering a and e department with the worse pain I've ever had and no answers yet what is wrong.

The people watching is interesting, were in a city centre my husband has had to go home.

Tell me about your days?

I was in hospital earlier for an appointment, (all good) came home to pack my bags for surgery tomorrow ( 48hrs notice) and have been hit with a hideous tummy bug so had to cancel surgery ..... Maybe someone will come along with a happier day x

Awww sorry to hear the bad stories… I’m on a wee break with my kids and grandkids and we have had a lovey day with hardly any rain, very few tantrums and a lot of fun…

I sat in the sun for a bit, picked a courgette from the garden, tidied a bit on my lunch break, had a productive work day… a glass of wine and a good go on my red light therapy device. Now I’m listening to blackadder and laughing to myself

Op sorry you are stuck in hospital. I've been house/tortoise sitting for my neighbour for past few days... Can't wait till I'm done!!! Hope you get sorted soon X ps his house is covered in flying ants so have to hold my breath when I open the door 🤣🤣

I'm just trying to decide what I'd like less flying ants or the lady who has just ripped her cathater bag out again.

I'm currently thankful I have a tube of nappy rash cream handy for the result of 4 days and counting of some funky stomach bug. Like wtf is going around man, me back end feels like it's on fire.

Hope you're on the mend soon OP, A&E sucks.

This nappy rash stuff seems to be the business. Don't know why I didn't think of it earlier.

@gamerchick we keep a giant size pot of sudocrem, covers all eventualities 🤣🤣 I'm 55 with two teenage sons 🤣🤣

My kitten was spayed on Friday. I’ve been really anxious as we lost a dog under anaesthetic some years ago, my cat had a difficult recovery from her spay and kitten is under the minimum weight our vet likes to operate at. However she seems to be doing really well so today I’m having a nice quiet relaxing day. Tomorrow my just turned 18 year old is off on holiday with friends for the first time but I will stress about that one tomorrow.

@Stuckinhospital I’m sorry you are stuck in A&E. I hope you get some answers and treatment soon and that all is well.

@Wahine24 @gamerchick You have my sympathy. I was wondering the other day if cream for piles might work for adult “nappy rash”. I think it has a topical anaesthetic in it but I could be wrong. As it was I only had Vaseline.

@Threeboysadogacatandakitten i think @gamerchick is the one suffering more than me.
I phoned the ward I'm due to be on before finishing the the word "vomit" I was told not to come in
