I have just agreed to a job I am a bit scared by - WOHM with a bit of hybrid WFH - FT Haven't worked FT in 6 years when I left because I was MISERABLE - and we had a nanny/afterschool club for a lot of it.
Have just over a month to prepare for it - what do I need to organise ?
Wardrobe and good shoes is one (I have had some MN help on this)
but what else do I need to think about?

Organise a cleaner. I get two hours every two weeks for our small house and it makes a huge difference to my time. £60 a month well spent.

Water tight childcare + back up plan. Decide with dp who will do drop offs and pick ups and who's responsible for sick days, school holidays and emergency calls. If you do this in advance it saves scrabbling around and possible tension later.

Meal plan and an online shopping pass. Get into the habit of doing it on your lunch break to get delivered on a regular day either before or after work

Laundry routine, stick a load on timed in the evening, hang it to dry when you wake up. Same with the dishwasher.

Good luck in the new job.

What's WOHM?
