Just discovered today that Linger by the Cranberries has the lyrics - “wrapped around your finger” and it’s not “Roger roger breaker” as I have thought for 30 years!!

Zero trucking references!

Has anyone else discovered misheard lyrics years later?

As a child i happily sang Silent night with 'random virgin mother and child'.

In fairness I was brought up in a Catholic country, a lot of virgins were worshipped.

And Dire Straits was 'money for nothing and chips for free'. More interesting to me than chicks I guess...

Same song…My DM always sang, ‘I want my own TV’ instead of MTV! It was always her dearest wish so she wouldn’t have to put up with watching football.
