I've applied for a job at a uni, and looking through their post-grad course list, pretty much all of the seminars are online. When I was a post-grad 15 years ago, seminars were all in person and lectures were all in the auditorium. Obviously Covid had an influence, but is this standard across all unis now? I've led seminars etc but only ever in person so this is a whole new thing I need to prepare for the interview (if I get it).
Is it all over zoom? Or something else? How do you split the group into groups to complete a task? What do I need to think about that's different to how you give a seminar in person?
