How/when did you learn to love yourself?

Just that really. I have never been comfortable in my own skin and find that when I look in a mirror I constantly find things wrong with me. It is at a point where though still relatively young, I'm getting cosmetic procedures done that I know I don't need but feel will look worse without getting it done (Botox/Filler).
I'm not overweight and others say I'm pretty but I honestly at times cannot stand my reflection.

Does it come naturally with age? Was it when you met your significant other that you gained a new perspective on things or is it something that a lot of people just live their lives with?

Can’t say I ever loved myself or ever will, that feels a bit weird to me, as if I’m a perfect being, a deity.

More I look in the mirror with acceptance and think “you’re a bit of a twat in many ways, but your hearts in the right place and you’re doing your best - just like pretty much everybody else really, we’re all deeply flawed. You’re going to like and be liked by some, not by others. Either way let’s make today a good today”.

that’s about it I’m afraid 😂😂

Er. You need to love your SELF not your appearance. The whole point is to love who you are, not what you look like.
