Need some help with a potential job!

I have been studying for the past few years, before that bringing children up so I'm lacking in work experience.

Recently applied for a job as a court officer, I've gotten through to the next round which is a suitability test, then I'm assuming if I pass that it will be interview.

I am so nervous. I know I haven't even passed the assessment yet, but just generally getting back into work I feel like I'm not good enough as I've been out of employment for so long.

Does anyone have knowledge of a court officer role? I want to work in the legal sector and obviously read the job description (which was surprisingly uninformative!), but I'm not completely sure what is expected of me, and if I do get to interview stage I want to be prepared.

The other thing is I often see people talking about questions such as 'give an example of a time you dealt with a situation such as x,y,z...' How do I do this when I have been a student/parent for so long? I did some voluntary work within a court so I understand the proceedings, but nothing out of the ordinary ever happened so I've no idea what kind of examples I should use if asked.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
