She's 7 and her teacher wrote she needs more practise in PE.

Go out with her and throw a ball, have a kick about? Go swimming, be more active with her? I was always the last to be picked in PE and when I look back we weren't active as a family. My parents worked full time and did plenty of overtime so I know finding the time would have been very difficult. I played out plenty but on bikes or skates, I could do 2 ball against a wall but I never practised throwing or catching and I had very little confidence generally in PE due to this.

After school sports clubs?

Take her swimming?

Kick/throw a ball around in the garden?

Holiday sports clubs?

Start junior park runs?

Does she care?

If not, then is it important enough to bother with?
My DDs both have dyspraxia, getting better at school PE was not high on their or our agenda.

Try her out in different extra curricular sports until she finds the one that is hers. Lots of clubs will let you try it out for a few sessions to see if it takes.

My DD loves team sports like football, basketball etc. Whereas my DS prefers individual sports like swimming.

Every child will be different.
