Ok what should I do?

Bils wife has just had her third dd, I saw these gorgeous handmade teddies with child's name on and decided to get one for each child. Obviously I know how to spell my older dn's names. But for the baby I double checked the message announcing baby's arrival. It's a name that can be spelt a couple ways like Clare, Claire. It was spelt the slightly less common way. But I used the spelling on the message. I then realised mil had sent the message (I assumed it was bil) I now have no idea if the name is spelt correctly. I can't return it as it's personalised they were £20 each so reluctant to buy another.

Do I just take it and hope it's correct/ they don't notice/style it out?

Clarify and replace if needed?

Oh god. Take it and hopefully they don't mind even if it isn't correct? I don't know, I wouldn't mind personally but some people might.

I wouldn't either. I just feel stupid for not realising

Just take it and suggest they change the kids name to match the bear. 20 quid is 20 quid.

We are visiting tonight maybe this will influence the spelling

I personally wouldn't want a personalised gift with the wrong spelling of a name on it.
