My son is on holiday with a friend and was mugged and punched about in playa del ingles early hours. His phone has been robbed
I'm trying to work out how he reports this. I can see in forums that he can report online and then present at a police station with the repot but I can't locate where this online form is.
It's his first holiday abroad and I'm frantic

Can anyone help me to locate this form and identify next steps please ?

Omg... Firstly is he ok... Befure your report is there anything you should know was it regards to drugs etc.. as I know my friends son something similar happened to him a few years back and he couldn't report it as he was under the influence of drugs. So had to just leave it be. Hope you manage to sort it all out. And that your son is ok. Xx

It appears to be this. https://denuncias.policia.es/OVD/

Does he require medical treatment ?

Is he staying at a hotel - has he been able to make his way back there? If so, can the people at reception help him?

It also states volume crime can’t be reported via that form ? He might be better just going to the local police station.

You or he can ring the British consulate for advice on what to do as a victim of crime. www.gov.uk/world/organisations/british-consulate-las-palmas-de-gran-canaria

What if you contact the police back where u live first and ask them for advise I should imagine they would know the protocol.

No drugs but would have been drunk. He is with a female friend, they got separated ( despite me saying stay together). He was lost so a group of people ( assume local as Spanish) said that they would walk him back to his hotel. He realised he was being taken in wrong direction so attempted to walk away but they grabbed his phone, he put up a bit of a fight ( but he is 5ft 6 and about 7 stone) but they overpowered him. Slapped him about a bit but he said he had no huge injuries other than marks

He found his way back to hotel and his friend was there waiting ( she had gone straight back)

I've contacted mobile company and blocked his phone and just contacting the insurance company now
