Earplugs for side sleeper?

if you use earplugs at night and are also a side sleeper, please share your recommendations here!🙏

I’m about to embark on a 2 week family holiday where I’ll be sharing a bedroom for much of it (after years of solo bedroom bliss!).

Help a mother out 😁

I don't use earplugs but I use a Bluetooth head band (Amazon have them) I play wave noises . Just spent 17 nights sharing a room with a heavy snorer ....was a life saver

I'm a side sleeper with a very snory dh. I use Mack's pillow soft silicone ear plugs. Rather than in the ear, the sit across the opening. A light press, and they stay put. They're the best I've found for comfort and noise blocking abilities!

I’m a side sleeper and have a pair of Loop Quiet. They are brilliant and stay in all night but also have the benefit of the loop so you can remove them quickly if needed. My husband snores like a walrus that ate a pig and these babies are the business!

The boots ones were amazing but they've changed them and now they are useless. Sorry that's more a recommendation to avoid.

Loop Quiets for me too. They're very comfortable

Another vote for Loop Quiet- soft silicone and don't poke.

I was in the same position as you OP, separate bedrooms for years due to the snoring and dreading a couple of weeks of very little sleep on holiday. I tried the Macks recommended above and they didn't work at all for me, I couldn't get them to form a seal. Thankfully I took the Loop Quiets as a back up and they worked a treat, easy to put in and take out in the morning.

Loop quiet are good but they do hurt my ears as I am a side sleeper. I find them quite tricky to get in properly, but once in place they are very effective.

Silicone earplugs for the win. Bombproof. You can buy Deep Sleeps on Amazon, or there are lots of non-branded ones that are identical. I roll them a little bit to make a shallow cone, then smush them over the ear hole to seal. They don't protrude at all, so very comfortable. Have worn them for the last 5 years with no issues.

No! I bought a pair for hospital and tried them out the other day and they hurt in my ear. Waste of £25.

Also they go all the way into the ear canal and really hurt if you put them in far enough that they stay in.

Am going to look into the one mentioned above.

I splashed out on some loops. They are great.

Also silicon ear plugs, £2 in Home Bargains, don't go into your ear canal which I find really uncomfortable.

I tried the silicone blob ones and found them to be almost completely ineffective.

I need something like the loop or the type that look like little trees but narrow, I've got small lugholes.
