Mums Vintage Tupperware

My DM died last year, and I’ve kept a few of her Tupperware bowls.

The one I used tonight was absolutely fabulous. I remember using it for making cakes back in the 1970s. It is deep with a lid with a hole in the middle so your cake mixture doesn’t splatter all over the place when using your electric whisk.

So glad I kept it. Made a curry tonight. Wanted a smooth sauce so pulverised the chunky sauce and it didn’t splat on my white tiles. Total Gamechanger!

Thanks Mum 👵🏻

I have some giant orange original tupperware. Fits a whole bag of flour perfectly. Still like new. I remember my mom buying them from a tupperware party in the 1980s.

She died a few years ago and they make me smile whenever I use them.

But, I am obsessed with vintage Pyrex. I love it. Although, I ran out of room for it a while ago and still keep buying it. Because I love it. I'd love a proper display case for it all one day.
