Primark Sticky Label

I’ve managed to wash a hoodie with one of those long sticky labels attached to it. Is there a way to get the residue off without ruining the jumper? It’s the size label.

Elbow grease spray? It might work and it's safe on clothes, orange oil takes sticky off hard surfaces but not sure if it would be good idea on fabric
