Mental health support groups

Does anyone attend a support group for anxiety or depression? They're so common that I can't believe there isn't more available. I'm in north Essex but can't find much at all.

Is there a social prescriber/community navigator at your GPs? You can be referred to one, and they will know about all the groups local to you.
