What are alpha & high capacity children & adults?

I've seen this referred to a few times on mumsnet. What exactly are alpha kids & adults? Also high capacity kid & adults?

Never heard of them so I'm following to learn something.

It’s one of those nebulous ‘leadership’ management concepts, usually associated with entrepreneurs, CEOs and the like. In other words, it has about as much validity as those personality quizzes in magazines. David Brent in The Office would describe himself as an ‘alpha’.
