Golden Years, more like tin?

I feel like I was sold a myth and the reality isn't measuring up. Anybody else?

About what?

Are you over 60? Retired?

Aged 66, just received pension. Missed out on promised inheritance. ( not grabby, long and difficult story)
Perhaps had an unrealistic idea.

If you maybe have poor health, on your own? and a low income then it's going to be tough. I don't think it's golden for a lot of people.
