Actually I thought it must be a wind up of some kind. Then I looked at the seller's other items, and it's an antique dealer with a web site with some other similarly crazy stuff. Though I'm still not sure it isn't a wind up lol - if it's real, where do things like this come from, and who buys them? Maybe I've just led a sheltered life.

I saw a listing for a "sex cage" once on FB marketplace (it looked a bit like a dog crate).
