Same here!

FoundObject · 13/07/2024 16:48

Just the one. My sister joined one of those ancestral DNA things, and there seems no evidence whatsoever that any of our DNA comes from anywhere other than the same part of our country. Not that surprisingly -- small farmers and landless labourers on both sides.

WhatHaveIFound · 13/07/2024 16:49

VerySadCase · 13/07/2024 17:00

Technically, "English" is an ethnicity rather than a nationality.

I'm a mix of English, Irish and Welsh.

patsy999 · 13/07/2024 17:01

French, german, scottish and english.

Summermightbegreat · 13/07/2024 17:04

Officially on paper, British and Cypriot.

My daughter is British, Cypriot and American.

But through our ancestry DNA we both have lots of different ethnicities in there.

Noosnom · 13/07/2024 17:08

Just English.

I did have some Scottish great great grandparents.

Moonshiners · 13/07/2024 17:11

My friend came out as 97% Irish on her DNA test. That is pretty boring!

Frowningprovidence · 13/07/2024 17:12

All four of my grandparents were born in London. None of my great grandparents were from England though. London was a great big port that drew them all in.

MumonabikeE5 · 13/07/2024 17:13

Swedish & Canadian via maternal, Italian via paternal .

my kids will have all that combined with Polish.
