I really want to get my son these books to read as I loved them as a child.
They were along the same lines of the Animal Ark stories by Lucy Daniels, I vaguely remember a red cover with a paw print/dog tag? And it was set around some children who lived at a kennels/ dog rescue place?
There were lots of stories in the book series but the main one I remember is relating to a small black dog who was a smugglers/pirates dog who was abandoned at a beach/cliff?
I've tried googling but am not having any luck so far!
