Today I received my dd SATS results and I won’t brag in real life so I’ve come here to say how proud I am that in every subject my daughter is above national average ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Ahh well done to her. I'm really proud of my boy too - he got 106 in maths, and he's really, really struggled with maths since the start of primary school. He worked so hard bless him. I know SATS don't mean a thing but it's nice to be proud of our kids x x

@Brownhairdontcare well done to your son. My dd was in doubt this time last year weather she was actually going to sit them. She got 106 in reading. 106 in grammar punctuation and spelling and 108 in maths. Xx

Our primary school never gave out the results, so I have absolutely no idea what mine got!

What?! I’m fairly sure they have to report to parents legally, so I’d chase this if I were you. (Unless it’s an independent school, they don’t have to take them.)

Fishcake18 · 12/07/2024 16:44

We never even found out our daughters sats results - weren't told. Year 6 last year. Any idea if we could contact the school now to ask for them?

Topsy44 · 12/07/2024 16:45

Well done to your daughter. It’s a lovely feeling and brag away!!

arinya · 12/07/2024 16:48

Well done to all. It’s nice to celebrate their achievements, big or small. We got our results by email today, DD got 119 for both English and Reading, really chuffed.

FrenchFancie · 12/07/2024 16:52

well done to your DC! Same here - year 6 has been rough as can be for DD with a diagnosis of autism in November and lots of friendship issues / bullying / cyber bullying.

shes done herself proud with 118 in reading and 120 each in SPAG and maths. We are very very proud of her after a challenging year!

Monkeybutt1 · 12/07/2024 17:06

We have to wait until next Friday to get ours, they are handed out with the reports

whatafaf · 12/07/2024 17:09

We got our reports today but they don't give the numbers just what standard they achieved.

Huifen · 12/07/2024 17:10

Well done to you're DD, you should be proud! I can't say it anywhere else so I'm going to have a little proud moment here as DD got 120 in gps, 120 in maths and 119 in reading. She's an absolute grafter at school - works so hard all the time so we're really chuffed her.

Mummapenguin20 · 12/07/2024 17:16

I’m so proud for all these children every single one deserves it ♥️

louisejxxx · 12/07/2024 17:18

Going to join in - dd got 114 in Maths & Spag and 111 in reading 😃 the English results are higher than expected so really chuffed for her.

Dabralor · 12/07/2024 17:21

Why the need to have a little competitive boast about the numbers? Can't we just say that we are proud and leave it at that?

If you can’t put them on mumsnet and have a little boast where can you?

Mummapenguin20 · 12/07/2024 17:23

even without the numbers I want to say I’m so proud of every single 11 year old that sat them exams. I stated my dd numbers because actually for a child that was working at year two level in September who we didn’t think would ever sit these exam her numbers are absolutely fantastic, I’ll also like to add as a boast in her school report that I recived at the same time she has read 4 million words since September ♥️

And this is a thread anonymous because none of us intend to share these numbers in real life

Dabralor · 12/07/2024 17:28

Aww that's amazing @Mummapenguin20 - your daughter ought to be so proud of herself!

Mummapenguin20 · 12/07/2024 17:43

@Dabralor im the proudest mum on earth today more tears than I care to admit have been shed. Her teacher has been trying to prep me for this the last few days with things she had been saying to me. My dd is a star and is very humble. When I told her her numbers and what they ment. She said “I just tried my very best like you said mum”
i wouldn’t boast this in real life I know some kids have really struggled with the exams but I did just need to tell someone outside my house. That’s why I did this thread xx

Well done your dd op and all the others.
My dd also has sen and we don't know what they are yet. I'd be thrilled if she passes her maths!

Mummapenguin20 · 12/07/2024 17:50

@RazzleDazzleEm im sure she’s done fantastic the fact she sat them n tried is amazing xx

StuntNun · 12/07/2024 18:24

Well done to your DD, @Mummapenguin20 it sounds like she smashed it. My DS did well too and got what he was aiming for. It's a nice confidence boost for them, isn't it?

Mummapenguin20 · 12/07/2024 18:50

@StuntNun it really is. We’ve had a rough few years getting a diagnosis my mum passed away last year too. It’s been tough on them all really schools put the pressure on too I’m just so so proud of every single one of the children no matter what there results they all tried and as a previous poster said they mean nothing and these children are now going to go into a new stage of there life with this confidence boost ♥️💙♥️💙♥️ good on all of them I say xx
