Windows template help please

I am trying to create a CV using a windows CV template and when I extend on to the next plage, the template format does too, but I want to remove the formatting, so I have a normal looking page, does anyone know if this is possible?

Can you go to the header and footer tab and click on 'different 2nd page'? The wording of the instruction may be slightly different but the meaning is the same. I don't use the templates but it's what I do when I create a document with a logo etc. on the first page.

That didn't work, it removed the formatting from the first page and left it on the second but it worked when I clicked 'different odd and even pages'.
