With abundance of information available, I actually feel that I cannot focus on what is really important. Too many podcasts, newspapers, bloggers etc. Overwhelmed by choice, I feel like I actually have not learned anything of real value.

I would like to streamline my consumption based on area of interest and subscribe to paid media if needed. If anyone has done the same, or can highly recommend a specific magazine, blog, website, I would be grateful. I am also wondering if there is a way to curate for specific news.

So, for work I am interested in the UK and Ireland generally manufacturing. Too many outlets of info…

Also, personally and professionally, I am interested in economy (Economist?)

For leisure reading, I am thinking Vogue as it has a bit of fashion, culture, general zeitgeist.

Thank you for any input or shared stories.

Deleted the apple news thread, deleted and now don’t follow any news media outlets/info/current affairs accs on instagram - don’t use fb or twitter.

Have a paid subscription to The Times and look at the local news fir where I live on BBC, we (DH and I) listen to Five Live when WFH.
