Which should I keep? help! I need to get rid of 3 to charity shop!

1- perfect fit and very snug
2- perfect for camping, light weight, easy to pack, but warm ish and can double as a blanket
3- lovely colour and many functional pockets! found second hand - does not fit but is to inspire me to lose 2 stone!
4- Does not suit me much, but is potentially the only one I could lend to an adult daughter or son as it is the only "cool" one - if they every get caught here in bad weather without a coat
5- personalised with my name from previous work place - also a good camping coat
6- Bright and colourful with reflective bits, waterproof. Good for dark mornings. But actually not very comfortable

Which shall I keep!?

Please help! horder in urgent need of more space

1- keep
2- keep
3- rid or vacuum pack into loft or similar
4- rid. If that happens, they'll appreciate anything
5- keep
6- rid

Get rid of them all and buy one that you actually love.

Donate 3,4 and 6 - maybe they'll be a godsend for someone in need.

Is 5 a workwear thing personalised in a visible way - they sounds like nothing I'd want to wear irl!

DaveWatts · 11/07/2024 21:01

Keep 1, 2 and 5

Having coats that are too small, uncomfortable or for someone else to borrow is crazy. Has anyone ever actually needed to borrow a coat from you? Surely if they were desperate they could just use one of your other ones.

ok, 4 has gone to an adult son! 6 has gone to a charity shop, and I have order vac pac bags for all the others.

never heard of these vac pac bags before - this could change my life!

2 and 3 and 5 are now vac packed! I've never heard of vac packing before, now I am working through all my cupboards vac packing duvets and blankets and things. 😁

(are any of these waterproof?)

If a coat doesn't fit, doesn't suit you and/or isn't comfortable, you shouldn't keep it.
