Where do you buy school shoes for 12 year old DDs

Suspect DD will suggest we get her school shoes from somewhere other than Clarks. Where do other people buy school appropriate shoes from? She's 12 and will be going into Y8.

Shops like John Lewis have more than one brand of school shoes

Is she allowed shoes like Kickers?

Dr Martens.

We usually go to Clarks (my dc have c/d fitting narrow feet) but Next is our other option. Dd3 is 12 (about to go into year 9) and has a specific style of Clarks lace ups she likes.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Dr. Marten's shoes are a good idea - she'll probably be happy with those. Thanks!

Shoe of choice locally, Nike Air Force ones

I had to jump in to say that last school year was the first time DD's shoes lasted a whole school year and are still immaculate!

They're the Hush Puppies Mary Janes (very classic) and I'll be buying them again this year (she outgrew the last)

For winter she wears Doc Martens because we live semi-rurally in Scotland

Sports direct.
Dd is autistic and has the same shoes everytime she's need them replacing (now end of year 10).
I've only really replaced because she's grown except this time (as she's had them two years and so bought her a pair to last till end of y11).

DMs here too.

When dd was 12 from a local children's fitters that sold Start-Rite, Geox and a variety of other mostly European brands. Dr Martin's didn't fit her wide instep.
