Is this withdrawal?

Hello was on escitalopram 10mg for 3 years. Have stopped taking it slowly or so I thought. Since fully stopping 2 weeks ago I've had migraines, excess saliva, weeeing lots and feelings I'm going to vomit with excess acid and burping. I feel like death. Anyone got any advice?

Sounds like you should have weaned off a bit slower.

How slowly did you taper off?

Sounds like some of the expected symptoms. Did a doctor supervise your tapering off? It sounds like it's quite difficult to stop taking it with lots of potential side effects, physical and mental you should talk to a doctor.

Can you speak to your pharmacist? I'd say GP but it's too difficult to get hold of them!

Perhaps you need to start taking half a tablet a day or quarter or something again.

Over about 4 weeks. I was only on 10mg so probably too quick! I'm 3 weeks into it now so think I may aswell just continue. I have felt better the last few days. Apparently escitalopram is hard to come off
