Swollen lump under & side of chin ds 6

Noticed a red dot (bite?) On my ds 6 under his chin to one side last night. Red mark now gone but swollen up, feels like a round lump. He's had a virus I think so not been right for a few weeks, sores in mouth etc. But they're gone now.

Could it be Insect bite? Viral? Do I need to do anything?

It could be a swollen lymph node or a bug bite. I have a horse fly bite on my leg at the moment that’s swollen and looks awful. Unless he’s obviously unwell (fever, etc) or it’s clearly infected, there isn’t much you can do but give it time.

So other glands and dace now puffy. Pharmacist had a look and said throat is red, sore and gave ne a spray abd if no improvement will offer antibiotics tomorrow. I'm now wondering how can you tell if it's not mumps? He's vaccinated.
