ADHD, forgot to pay for parking

I'm 30 weeks pregnant with ADHD, I've been going to the hospital several times a week for various reasons in my pregnancy and this morning I woke up and realised I think I forgot to pay for parking yesterday.

I usually pay via an app but just somehow completely forgot. I paid as soon as I realised but I think it has to be done before midnight so I'm obviously going to be fined now. Feel like such an idiot!!

Has anybody else ever done this?

Some hospitals offer free parking for frequent outpatient appointments, ask about this.

I left 100 in a cash machine when I was pregnant. Took the card and forgot the cash. Don't be hard on yourself

All the time, I’m neurodivergent and regulate with routines. I had to be scanned weekly with my last two pregnancies so made sure I always looked at the book stall (enjoyable) which was next to the pay machine (task) then I’d pay. It’s harder to forget two things than one, particularly when one is a nice activity.

Not exactly the same I managed to take new born to boots , took a load of clothes to the till , then managed to walk off without the clothes ( luckily with the baby )after paying for them 🤣.

Yep. ADHD tax. It's always something.

If you get a fine, I would appeal it and explain. You can show you paid as soon as you realized so they haven't lost money.

I once left the school playground without my toddler. It was only when someone asked me “where’s N” and I actually looked in the empty pushchair that I realised I’d not got him.

Pregnancy hormones can cause chaos! Hopefully you don’t get fined
