Can I ask for copy of Asda phone call

do Asda record their phone calls? I was on the phone to Asda when I was getting my shopping delivered because I didn’t like something the delivery driver had done. Whilst I was on the phone to them the driver said something in the background, they were in my house unloading my shopping and what they said made me feel intimidated and uncomfortable. I want to know if it was caught on the call

Ring customer services and ask them. I doubt they'd hear voices in the background to be honest but you can ask them. Why were they inside your house?

I think it'd be difficult to prove it was them even if you had the recording which in turn is unlikely to be clear enough. Any chance it was caught on a doorbell camera?

What was it he said and why was he unloading shopping inside your house? Were you complaining about him on the phone at the time of delivery?

It sounds like it. The poor guys get a timed 2 mins per delivery or something ridiculous. I’ve spent up to 30 mins hanging on for the helpline before now so I can imagine the driver was a bit put out. He’d be getting it in the neck from all the remaining customers he delivers late to!

What did he say op? Do they have an arrangement to come into the house due to disability or something? If they do record calls then I imagine it would have declared ’all calls are recorded for training purposes’ or something similar. You shouldn’t be made to feel uncomfortable or intimidated though for any reason during a deliver, so I hope they take your complaint seriously.

Calls may be recorded for their purposes not yours. Cant see them sharing it at all.
