Liking one person's message in a group chat, but LOVING everyone else's!

It happened to me today and I've since been re-reading my message to check for potential offensive undertones.

I think exactly the same when it happens to Me! But then I've also been guilty for not holding my finger down long enough to get a Heart, and just tapping a thumb's up instead

Oh yes, so true. I got a laughing emoji recently when I confirmed I could make an event. Everyone else got a heart or thumbs up!

Though I daresay I’ve caused inadvertent offense with careless emoji use myself, so I won’t overthink it!!

Life was simpler when a like was the only digital emotion.

I'm always paranoid I'll accidentally put a laughing face instead of heart on a sad message. It's a minefield.

I thought this was going to be about seeing senior management having muttered conversations audibly featuring your name, or your spouse showing up at 3 am with lipstick on his collar and no trousers!
