Parents leaving DC alone in pool!

Abroad at the moment. It's the English and Irish families doing it.

Leaving their DC, between ages of about 2.5 to 6 or 7. Alone in the baby pool. Some have armbands, some not. Point is, they shouldn't be left alone

Some of the parents are obviously on sunbeds and in view of the pool. Others are nowhere to be seen!

My DC can swim but I'd never leave them unattended.

I felt awful every time I had to leave the pool with DC, leaving so many kids unattended

The lifeguard is also a bit odd and not always there.

Are you in the Canaries by any chance? Sounds like our resort!

I honestly don't know how the parents can relax not knowing whether their kids are safe.

Same here. Amount of German and Dutch children here who are so entitled is unbelievable. Want everything first and best. Literally snapping things/pushing ahead for everything and parents dominating the pool areas. Before anyone jumps down my throat not saying all germans/Dutch just the ones here although a staff member did tell.me it's something they come across alot
