Facebook account closed

I got a message saying my FB has been closed for not meeting community guidelines. I've had it since 2008 and it's never been used inappropriately. However it is not in my own name but that of an ancestor, who did really exist. I did this because I didn't want kids from school searching me.

I know all about privacy settings so I should have done that in the first place but I'm quite private and didn't even want my real name out there. Everyone I'm friends with are people I know in real life. None of this was for scamming purposes or fraud.

They've asked me to take a video and upload id with my date of birth on. I can't do that for someone who died in 1912.

Meanwhile they allow all the US generals, medics and those on peacekeeping missions to carry on regardless.

My partner had his Facebook account closed several months ago after it was hacked - no end of appeals helped. He lost it and he used it for his business with an associated Facebook group he can no longer access. They don't respond to emails, they don't care.

You could try explaining why the account is in a different name as I imagine other people do this?

I'm afraid often the only thing to do is open a new account under a different email address.

I'm an admin on a group and I can't do that either now.
