Missed my citalopram does for 3 days and yesterday I was so dizzy. I felt pissed, you know that woozy feeling inside your head ?
Well last night when I got into bed I was having what I now know are these brain zaps. My brain would suddenly like jolt, it felt like a sudden shock to my brain, fucking horrible feeling. Thought I was having seizures ! I also heard inside my head like a big clap a couple of times. It's like my brain stopped working for a couple of seconds, like
It was lagging almost.
Anyone else had this before ? Worried it's going to happen again today. I've taken my tablets this morning as soon as I woke up

Yes I get this if I forget my duloxetine for even one day. They should go once the drugs get into your system again.

Omg aren't they awful! The dizziness was just as bad, literally felt pissed up all day, and i absolutely hate that drunk feeling aswell so it was just horrid

Yes I had these when I was coming off citalopram, they're horrible.

Jeezitneverends · 10/07/2024 22:22

I used to get that when I was on a high dose of venlafaxine and I was late taking a dose, never mind missing a dose! It’s grim, hope you’re ok

cherryassam · 10/07/2024 22:30

I’m on Sertraline and get them if I miss a dose or am very late with it, for me it feels like my brain powers down for a split second than powers back up again. Or I’ve described it as feeling like my brain is blinking before, really strange feeling
