Might anyone know if publishers keep archives of magazines from the past?

years ago, as a teenager, I took part in a a makeover for a now out of publication teen magazine. I never kept a copy of the magazine, but I’d love to see the article again. I have emailed the publisher but feel I have more chance of winning the lottery than actually getting anywhere. I’m talking mid-late nineties for a while ago now, but then 14-15 year old me thought I looked ugly so didn’t keep the magazine which I regret now. Does anyone know if imagery is retained, or am I chasing a pipe dream? I don’t even know which issue it was, only a ballpark date period, know am hoping I might be found by virtue or my name being attached to something. Don’t know why I’m posting this here, but was just wondering if anyone who works in journalism might know?

thanks!

I think there is a library (possibly the British library) that keeps a copy of all magazines but I could be wrong, do you know the issue number?

There are some Instagram accounts dedicated to 90s mags like Bliss - might be worth a look?! Which mag was it?

90s teen magazine archive on Instagram share a lot of old issues (assuming it was a 90s teen magazine from the fact it was a make over)! Would be worth contacting them
