Bloody stinging nettles!

I got stung today on the side of my leg through leggings. I had a shower within a few minutes and applied anthisan but it’s still tingling / burning 7 hours later despite re washing and applying more cream. I’ve never had it last this long. The visible rash has gone just the tingling / burning bothering me and I’m struggling to sleep.

any suggestions? How long can I expect this joy to continue for?

I've had some luck with cold packs before.

Heat - hairdryer or back of a spoon that's been in hot water - as hot as you can stand it (without burning as that would cause a whole other issue 😂) works for bites too

Anti histamine?

Dock leaves.

If you really want to neutralise the effect of the nettle sting’s acid and dock leaves don’t work, try treating it with soap, milk or a dilute solution of baking soda, all of which are alkaline.

I second heat. As hot as you can bear it. It sounds crazy, but it really stops the itch.
