How long does a driving theory test actually take?

I've accidentally booked my driving theory test when my daughter has her nursery graduation.
I know that shouldn't be a big deal, but she's been so excited about the little graduation party and they've been practising a song and whatnot.

Just wondering if I'll be able to blast it out quicker than the hour they state it takes. When I do practice ones, the questions often only take me 5 or 10 minutes so felt hopeful 😕

I did mine a couple of weeks ago and was similarly under time pressure. The video bit is difficult to rush. And I wanted to check any tricky multiple choice questions so flagged them to go back to. But it didn’t take an hour, more like half. I had to wait a bit for the print off of results afterwards (5 mins max). I went in early - just went in when I arrived and they didn’t make me wait. Obviously this can’t be guaranteed

OK, that's very encouraging, thanks for getting back to me 🙂

It took me less than 6 minutes for my driving test. Hazard perception took a bit longer - about 15-20mins. I was really well prepared tho

Took DD about 49 minutes from drop off to back in the car.

Good luck.

40! Not 49.
