My youngest dd7 has had 2 chest infections in the past month, but it seems like the antibiotics didn't fully clear it the first time round. Then an ear infection. But 2 weeks after the antibiotics we're back to getting slight fevers on a night. Over 37.5 nothing over 38.

Now she's complaining of her legs aching/hurting, of headache (today) and bellyache. However she's still eating, bouncing about being her usual self. (The first time I took her to the doctor's I apologised because I thought I was wasting their time as she was swinging her legs, telling her all about our trip to cinema and she had a temp of 39.1)

I did the most stupid thing and googled and now I'm a mess thinking this could be something serious.

On a side note, I'm not usually so paranoid, my eldest is having issues with school and she's not sleeping so I'm not sleeping and it's brought back some big anxieties that I thought I'd overcome and now I can't seem to find my logic/rational part of my brain.

Any advice? Has anyone known anything like this? Can you ask to see a GP instead of the nurse practitioner? As it's a triage system. Or is it a case of leaving it to see if it resolves itself?
