Anyone else have a rubbishy dinner tonight?

I don't know what happened to today but I forgot I needed to go shopping, felt tired, couldn't be ars*d to cook and raided the freezer. We had - fish fingers, mini potato waffles, onion rings and sweetcorn with as ketchup and / or mayonnaise... they loved it sometimes wonder why I bother making any effort at all

I'm going to have to divvy up some veg tomorrow!!

PS we ate it on the sofa with cans of coke - might as well go for it

Not rubbish but easy. Leftovers from yesterday. I learned a long time ago to cook extra on Sunday as Mondays ended up like this.

I had two nectarines, an pice of halloumi, and a leftover half cruffin.

It’s probably a balanced meal somewhere.

My DP’s away with work for a fortnight and I can’t bring myself to properly cook when it’s just for me. Tonight I had a jacket potato filled with tuna mayo and celery, topped with cheese, and with a Tesco salad and coleslaw on the side.

The tuna was pretty sloppy because I gave the cat some before adding the mayo and celery.

I cobbled together some scalloped potatoes, tomatoes and feta with some pickled red peppers. Followed by an apple and a slice of Viennetta.

Shopping day tomorrow. At least the fridge is empty…

I couldn’t face cooking so had 2 crumpets with lots of butter, a bowl of cornflakes, too many bourbon biscuits and a banana. Will do better tomorrow!

@Theredjellybean That reminds me of my mum who once had a group of friends round for dinner.

She just went for the simple pudding of meringues, raspberries and ice cream. She defrosted the raspberries... but when she came to serve up discovered she was offering her guests meringues, ice cream and..... red cabbage casserole!!

How do you do the chicken spice bag?

I'd call most of what you're all saying, a normal tea.
