Help!! They are such a pest. At one point they were so bad I would find them crawling all over the walls. I found them hiding behind photo frames in large groups, been cupboards etc. Anyway we redecorated the living room, porch and bathroom and I thoroughly cleaned the other parts of the house and then literally saturated infested areas with permethrin. They seem to be gone for 3 weeks, then bam they are back again in a different area. Again I clean that bit thoroughly, spray with permethrin then they just go to a different part of the house. I am tearing my hair out because I’ve been battling them for a year and they just keep coming back. How the hell do I get rid of them.
I find them on clothing, they were in my daughter’s bed today, I’ve found them in my mug cupboard. Arghhhh. Our house isn’t dirty and we do get the odd section that gets dusty but nothing too bad. But I have a 2 year old and a 9 year old, and a full time job, I don’t have time to forensically clean every place all the time. I’ve been in muckier houses that don’t have bug infestations.
