A long time, sorry. But you can get some very comfy coxyx cushions just for this.

It took me about 6 weeks, I fell down the stairs too. It was funny, just as I thought I'll have to go to hospital as this isn't getting better, it did! It didn't gradually get better, it almost happened overnight. Getting off of the sofa was the worst for me - whilst I was standing, I felt fine. I used an electric heat pad, it really helped.

I did this ice skating. I went to a sports chiropractor and he told me the bone had moved so many millimeters out and maneuvered it back over three visits. Immediate relief after the first trip.

I'm hoping it's weeks rather than months but hey ho

I bruised/possibly fractured mine falling down the stairs drunk when I was 26. It still hurt if I sat slouched years later; I’m 39 now and it's only in the last few years that it hasn't felt a bit weird/uncomfortable if I put pressure on it for long periods 😬

Oh god

I bruised mine around 7 weeks ago.
It still hurts. Not ALL the time but randomly, and weirdly often after I have been relaxing on the sofa for a while in the evening.. I'll move and OW! I suspect it's going to be sore for a long time!
