Car phone holder that doesn't sag!

I have one that slots into the air vent, but it regularly safs and falls off when going around roundabouts!
Do the ones on suckers stay on better?

Following, I've got one that slots into the CD player but it fell to bits and I've had to patch it back together with cable ties and don't really trust it not to break again.

The best one I've tried is the magnet type on the dashboard

Oh are dashboards metal? I assumed plastic, but perhaps it's metal underneath?
