My muffins stuck to their paper cases

I made some savoury muffins today ( cheese, sweetcorn and red onion), they turned out great and taste lovely, but they have stuck badly to the paper cases, when removing the case loads of the muffin comes away with it.
I want to make some more to take in to a work shared lunch, how can I stop them sticking to the paper cases? Thanks

Did you try taking the cases off while they were still warm? Were they fully cooked? Was it the cheese? Those - apart from maybe the recipe being a bit wrongly proportioned - are the things I think would cause it.
I always test run baking too OP. You might have to try them again until you get them right. They sound delicious!

They were fully cooked, yes the extra cheese on the top did stick but the whole muffin did. They were about 99% cool I would say. I had to try one (or two) for test purposes 😀

Take them into work in their paper cases. They often free up and become easy release after about 6 hours.

Get some silicone muffin cases, they will tip straight out when cooked.

Ah good shout on silicone cases, that'll sort them out!

I use a brand of paper cases called "If You Care" Baking Cups (shite name) - they are ecological, boring looking because they're just plain brown paper, but they're like MAGIC when it comes to not sticking to the muffins.

You can get them from Amazon or Ocado, probably other places as well.

I've invested in some silicone muffin trays, thanks for the advice.
