loo paper is mostly embossed, but i like it smooth

waitrose have even changed their essential to embossed, it obviously cuts down on the amount of paper

anyone use any un-embossed paper, smooth paper, that will be gentle

Completely agree!! I’m appalled, having switched from Andrex when they started embossing theirs and having been relying on Waitrose ever since. It’s so upsetting! Does anyone else produce plain, white, soft loo paper??

Asda Shades is plain/non-embossed and soft.

Aldi do some comfy loo roll. We use bumboo, huge boxes good value and it lasts for months

I’ve done extensive research and as far as I can see, no one produces the completely plain, non embossed, non quilted paper except perhaps companies that produce those vast rolls for public loos which anyway is not very soft 😱

No one produces non embossed and non quilted loo paper. It’s infuriating, Waitrose was the last place you could get it, inferior though it was to the old Andrex but now even they have succumbed to this ridiculous trend of putting some pointless pattern on it!

Just discovered something quite exciting, Sainsbury’s Super Softer Classic White loo rolls are totally plain!

Never understood the need for scented loo roll .. even more so considering what it's used for.

Aldi Soft. It’s not scented.
