Do I really need to dry clean this?

I've got a lovely soft blanket that needs a wash. I was going to chuck it in with my normal wash but checked the label and it says dry clean only. It's 65% cotton, 25% polyester and 10% acrylic. I can do it on a gentle wash can't I?

Ds has work trousers that say dry clean on them, I wash them on a 20minutes refresh wash at 20 degrees. Always been fine.

the only things I will pay to get dry cleaned is my wool coat and dh or Ds’s suits.

Thank you, I thought so. I don't want to ruin it. I always used to wash dry clean stuff that wasn't wool but I have a new machine now and not feeling quite so sure!

I put everything in Washing machine and I mean everything! Dry clean curtains, dry clean suit never had an issue. Just done on a 30 with a lower spin of 1000
