Would you get this injured elbow checked again?

Ds (teenager) injured his elbow last week by bumping it pretty hard and we ended up at hospital as he was convinced it was dislocated. We saw a lovely nurse practitioner who agreed it looked odd and could well be dislocated, but the x ray showed it wasn't.

Ds was advised to wear a sling for a couple of days only (hour on, hour off), however a week later he says it's not feeling any better at all and he can't lift anything heavy using that arm.

Ds is autistic and can be overly sensitive to pain due to sensory processing differences. However he's also not one to make a fuss and im really unsure what to do. I'm assuming it would be pretty hard to miss on the X-ray if it was actually dislocated? But also feel it should be at least a bit better by now?

Would you get it checked again and if so who by?
