Dd has inset day on Tuesday wtf on a Tuesday what's wrong with Monday. Why make me get up early on Monday.. why not have it Monday so I can have a long weekend . I swear it's on purpose.

I have to take my other kids to school to be honest . But I could have had 30 mins lay in. That would mean the world.

Oh well fuck it hope the school wifi gos down 💀

Presumably it's because the teachers are having some external training and that's the day the trainer can make (or perhaps the training is cheaper on a Tuesday because schools all want a Mon or Fri).

I would imagine that means the training provider can only do that day.

That is so annoying when they do that!! Especially when you have kids at different schools and the inset days don't match up.

Can you do something fun with your child one on one? Like are you near a theme park or something.. or somewhere else that's less busy when the kids are all at school. Might make it seem less annoying.

I'd love a random inset day so we can go to a theme park when it's quiet. We always get them tagged on to a half term holiday

Ours are always a mix of days due to lots of part-time staff, so this way it's not always the same staff that miss it.

It's a pain 🤣. I thought we could go and get her September uniform fron the school shop . That would be fun 🤣

We could maybe go to lunch or something
