Mouth ulcers before period…

Has anyone suffered/suffer with ulcers before period? For a while I’ve been getting mouth ulcers about 2 weeks before period starts. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not so want to know if it’s a normal thing?

I get them as well, usually a day or two before my period starts. My mum constantly had mouth ulcers when I was a teenager and spent a fortune of a particular type of toothpaste to try and stop them but nothing would work. She passed away a few years ago and it was after she died that I put two and two together that it was connected to my period so no idea if hers were as well, although I assume they were.

I used to suffer with terrible ulcers when younger. I find a magnesium and zinc supplement has solved all that
